Rep. Ward to Hold Town Hall Meetings on March 2
St. Paul, Minnesota — State Representative John Ward (DFL – Baxter) will be holding a series of town hall meetings on March 2, 2013. The first will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM at Brainerd City Hall (501 Laurel St, Brainerd, MN 56401), the second will from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at Nisswa City Hall (5442 City Hall St, Nisswa, MN 56468), the third will be from 1:00-2:00 PM at Pequot Lakes City Hall (4638 County Road 11, Pequot Lakes, MN 56472), and the final meeting will be from 3:00-4:00 PM at Breezy Point City Hall (8319 County Road 11, Breezy Point, MN 56472).
“Our state is facing some challenges, first and foremost, closing a $1.1 billion budget deficit,” said Rep. Ward. “Our budget needs to set our state on a long-term path to success and reflect the priorities of Minnesotans. I need your input. Hearing from Minnesotans is absolutely essential to getting the job done and I strongly encourage folks to attend if they can.”
Rep. Ward has invited Rep. Joe Radinovich (DFL – Crosby) and Sen. Carrie Ruud (R – Breezy Point) to attend. Al Doty, staff member for US Rep. Rick Nolan will be attending all four meetings.
