ST. PAUL – State Representative John Ward (DFL – Brainerd) is pleased to announce that the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR) will be accepting proposals for funding from the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund. The LCCMR is focused on projects that enhance the environment in eight areas:
1) Natural Resource Data and Information
2) Water Resources
3) Methods to Protect, Restore, and Enhance Land and Hapitat
4) Land Acquisition for Habitat and Recreation
5) Aquatic and Terrestrial Invasive Species
6) Climate Change, Renewable Energy, and Air Quality
7) Environmental Education
8) Creative Ideas
“The Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund is a fantastic opportunity to reinvest in Minnesota’s great outdoors," said Rep. John Ward. “This long established program has continually sought to provide Minnesota a future of clear lakes, clean air and an overall enjoyable experience.”
