REP. JOHN WARD SEEKS INPUT OF LOCAL BUSINESS OWNERS Small Business Caucus compiles online survey asking key questions on business challenges and opportunities

ST. PAUL, MN – A bipartisan coalition of state legislators has organized a Small Business Caucus focused on addressing the challenges and opportunities facing small businesses in Minnesota. The new caucus is seeking the input and partnership of small business owners across the state to help make Minnesota a better, more competitive place to do business.
“Minnesota has always been a place where opportunity, hard work, and an educated workforce combine to create a business environment that supports and encourages entrepreneurship," said Rep. Ward. “Our community is home to hundreds of small businesses that make our local economy thrive; we need to do all we can to support them and help them flourish.”
The Small Business Caucus is seeking feedback in an online survey that can be found on the Minnesota House of Representatives website at www.house.mn. By listening directly to the concerns of small business owners, and weighing the input of economic experts, the Small Business Caucus plans to pursue a pro-business agenda that will make small businesses more competitive, create jobs, and help speed Minnesota’s economic recovery.
Survey input will be collected online until November 30, 2009. Please contact Rep. John Ward at 651-296-4333pr rep.john.ward@house.mn if you have any questions.
