ST. PAUL, MN Beginning on August 27th, thousands of Minnesotans will travel to St. Paul for the Great Minnesota Get Together. Whether its the food, the rides, or the exhibits, Minnesotans have been coming from every corner of the state since 1859 for the Minnesota State Fair. Again this year, State Representative John Ward will be on hand at the Fair to answer constituent questions, discuss the past legislative session, and take suggestions for future legislation.
The State Fair is Minnesota at its best a throw - back to simpler times when people gathered to see the animals and produce, eat some food on a stick, and celebrate life in Minnesota," said Ward.
Rep. Ward will be at the State Fair on Saturday, September 5 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the Minnesota House of Representatives booth located in the Education Building on Cosgrove Street.
I encourage everyone to stop by the booth and say hello, Ward said. I'm always eager to discuss local issues with constituents, as well as listen to ideas for the upcoming session.
Visitors to the House Fair Booth will also be able to fill out a legislative survey that will help lawmakers identify top priorities for the upcoming session.
