St. Paul, MN - State Rep. John Ward is pleased to announce that the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) will be in Brainerd next Friday. The PPA program helps people of all ages who are uninsured or under-insured and need help paying for their prescription medications.
"We all know how expensive prescription drugs can be, especially if you're uninsured, or living on a fixed income," said Ward. "This program can help some people pay less for the drugs they need to live a better life.
I would encourage anyone in our area who believes they may qualify for this program to check it out."
The PPA program is often seen on television ads with its spokesman, Montel Williams. Since it began in April of 2005, the program has helped almost 5 million Americans and over 40,000 Minnesotans obtain free or nearly free medicine.
