REP. WARD ANNOUNCES WASTEWATER LOAN FOR CITY OF BRAINERD
State Representative John Ward (DFL-Brainerd) is pleased to announce that the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority has approved a financing package for the city of Brainerd that will help expand and upgrade the existing wastewater treatment plant.
The package consists of a $2 million, low-interest loan out of the Clean Water Revolving Fund, to be paid back over ten years.
"I want to congratulate the city of Brainerd on its successful loan application for this funding, " said Ward. "Brainerd taxpayers will save over $152 thousand in interest because this award."
