ST. PAUL, MN – Local lawmaker Rick Hansen (DFL – South St. Paul) will be on-hand at the Minnesota State Fair this year to meet with constituents. Hansen will be taking questions from residents of District 39A, discussing legislation for the upcoming session, and distributing legislative surveys to Minnesota Fair-goers.
“I’m looking forward to two things this year at the State Fair: Minnesota grown apples at the horticulture building and meeting with my constituents," said Rep. Hansen.
Rep. Hansen will be at the State Fair Thursday, August 27 from 10:00am to 12:00pm and Friday, August 28 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Minnesota House of Representatives booth located in the Education Building on Cosgrove Street.
“I encourage all residents of District 39A and other Minnesotans to stop by the booth and say hello throughout the fair,” Hansen said. “The input I receive from constituents is critical in helping me represent our community. I look forward to taking questions, discussing legislative and community issues, and generally hearing what’s on people’s minds.”
Hansen is serving his third term in the Minnesota House of Representatives. He serves on the Capital Investment Finance Division, Environment and Natural Resources Division, Environment Policy and Oversight Committee, and Game, Fish and Forestry Division.
