MN HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SESSION OPENS JANUARY 4, 2011 State Representative Rod Hamilton Assigned to Committees
ST. PAUL January 4, 2011 marked the beginning of the 87th session of the Minnesota House of Representatives. The 2011 2012 session is State Representative Rod Hamilton’s (R Mountain Lake) fourth term in the Minnesota house.
“I am looking forward to another productive session and working hard for the citizens of my district and for all of rural Minnesota,” Hamilton said.
Hamilton was recently appointed Chairman of the Minnesota House Agriculture and Rural Development Policy and Finance Committee. He will also serve on the Health and Human Services Finance, Rules and Legislative Administration, and Ways and Means committees. He will also serve as the House Majority Whip, the third most powerful leadership position within the House Republican Caucus.
