Garofalo Plans Day at the Capitol on January 28
St. Paul — State Rep. Pat Garofalo (R-Farmington) is planning a Day at the Capitol for his constituents on Saturday, January 28.
Tours will be offered at 11:00 a.m. and noon. A reception will be held in the retiring room on the House floor from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. Street parking is available. In addition to the tours and the reception, guests will get the rare opportunity to walk on the House floor and see first-hand where state lawmakers debate and vote on the laws that affect every Minnesotan.
“I am thrilled to have this chance to give the public an inside look at where ideas and ideals become law,” Garofalo said. “I would especially like to invite those with children to attend and see this treasure of Minnesota that is the House of Representatives. It is because of the people in District 36B that I am here at all, so I am very thankful for this opportunity.”
