Session break means more time to meet with local people

Dear Neighbor,

The Legislature is on its annual Easter/Passover break this week. It’s not really a “break” as breaks go, rather an opportunity to spend time meeting with the people we represent.

Some of the groups I have met with this week include the Watkins nursing home, the Grove City senior nutrition site, Camp America in Howard Lake, county commissioners, constituents who wanted to discuss Minnesota Public Radio and Legacy Amendment funding, and Civil War sesquicentennial officials. I also met with three Annandale groups. One pertained to behavioral health, and the others were in regard to prospective projects for both water retention and Pioneer Park.

Have a blessed Easter/Passover and I will let you know how things develop as we return to St. Paul next week to begin the final month until our scheduled adjournment.

Sincerely,
Dean
