URDAHL NAMED TO TRANSPORTATION CONFERENCE COMMITTEE
ST. PAUL - State Rep. Dean Urdahl accepted an appointment to serve on a legislative conference committee in charge of refining a bill pertaining to transportation policy.
Urdahl, R-Grove City, is the only member of the House minority named to the conference committee by Speaker of the House Margaret Anderson Kelliher. The committee will work to reconcile differences between House and Senate versions of the Omnibus Transportation Policy Bill (H.F. 0928).
A final bill should be sent to Gov. Pawlenty for his authorization before the Legislature is set to adjourn May 18.

Dean Urdahl represents District 18B in the Minnesota House of Representatives. The district includes most of Meeker County and a portion of Wright County. This is Urdahl’s third term in the legislature after being elected in 2002, 2004 and 2006.
