Rep. Paul Thissen statement on retirement of Rep. Tom Rukavina
Saint Paul, Minnesota – Earlier today State Rep. Tom Rukavina announced he would retire from the Minnesota House of Representatives after twenty-six years of service. State Rep. Paul Thissen released the following statement.
“Minnesota will miss Tom Rukavina.
For more than two decades, Tom served as the populist conscience of the Minnesota legislature. Unwavering and unapologetic, he fought hard for the working people of Minnesota.
He leaves a large legacy as a true champion of the working people who make this state great and the legislature won’t be the same without him."
