Thissen: Vote on Vikings Stadium a positive step forward
Saint Paul, Minnesota – House Minority Leader Paul Thissen released this statement following the announcement by Speaker of the House Kurt Zellers that he would bring up the bill to build the Minnesota Vikings stadium on Monday.
“I am pleased that Republican leaders are now moving forward with a vote on the Vikings stadium.
We also continue to push for a bonding bill that strategically invests in infrastructure and regional economic development throughout the state. That’s the best way to maximize job creation in the short term while shaping the future of our state for decades to come.
Jobs have been and continue to be the top priority for Democrats this session. We look forward to finishing the session with solutions that will put Minnesotans to work."
