Rep. Thissen statement on Rep. Mindy Greiling’s service to Minnesota
State Rep. Mindy Greiling announced today she would retire from the State Legislature at the end of her current term. Minority Leader Paul Thissen released the following statement.
“I want to congratulate Mindy Greiling on her truly impressive legislative career in her twenty years of service to her community and state.
Mindy has always been a fighter and tireless advocate for Minnesota’s students, schools and Minnesotans with mental illness. Her resolute leadership for excellence in education has been unmatched and will certainly be missed.
Throughout her years of service, Mindy has challenged us as a Legislature to do more and go further, especially when it comes to adequately funding our schools. I hope we can all live up to this challenge this session and beyond.
I wish Mindy well and look forward to working with her in the 2012 session."
