THISSEN INCLUDED IN BUSINESS JOURNAL'S "40 UNDER 40"
ST. PAUL - State Representative Paul Thissen (DFL-Minneapolis/Richfield) was included in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal's "40 Under 40" special section. The section names 40 Twin Cities professionals under the age of 40 for their business accomplishments and community contributions. Thissen, who is also an attorney at Briggs and Morgan, has served in the Legislature since 2002. The weekly business publication noted Thissen's long-term thinking, his work on health care, renewable energy, and his ability to break down partisan differences to move legislation forward. They also recognized his pro bono work as an attorney.
"I feel very honored to be recognized," Thissen said. "Minneapolis and Richfield residents have given me a great opportunity to represent them at the Capitol and to work on issues that are important to all of us."
The 40 honorees were chosen from a group of 321 nominations that came from co-workers and colleagues.
