To the Editor,
Several weeks ago seven apartments were destroyed at the Windsor Gates Apartment in Brooklyn Park. Thankfully, while, no one was killed or seriously injured the fire left 25 residents – our neighbors – without a home.
We all owe a debt of gratitude to the emergency responders whose quick response helped avert an even greater tragedy. Time and again, these brave men and women put their own lives at risk to help those who need their help.
Minnesotans have always demonstrated a willingness to come to the aid of their neighbors in times of trouble. Many of these families have lost everything. As a community, we need to rally around them and do what we can to help them recover."
There are many agencies that you can contact to lend your support to these families in need, including:

Sincerely,
Michael Nelson
