NEWS AND VIEWS WITH REP. DENNY McNAMARA

Hi everybody,

I thought I’d take a minute to let you know my 2010 Legislative Survey has been sent, and if you haven’t received it yet, it should be in your mailbox in the coming days. I always appreciate the feedback folks give on these questionnaires. Knowing how you want me to vote on a particular issue helps me represent you more effectively, so I strongly encourage you to fill out the survey and return it to my office.

If you did not receive a survey in the mail, drop me an email at rep.denny.mcnamara@house.mn or call 651-296-3135 and I’ll see that one is sent to you. Or if you prefer, you can also fill out the survey online. Visit www.house.mn/57B and click on the “Online Survey” icon.

I’d also like to encourage you to attend one of my upcoming town meetings. I will hold the meetings with Senator Katie Sieben in Afton and Hastings, and State Representative Karla Bigham will join us in Cottage Grove. Hopefully, you’ll be able to join us too.

Here are the dates and times:

Saturday, February 6: Afton, City Hall, 9:00-10:30 a.m.
Saturday, February 6: Hastings, City Hall, 101 4th Street, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Saturday, February 13: Cottage Grove, City Hall, 7516 80th Street S., 9:00-10:30 a.m.

We’ll be discussing key issues that could be debated during the 2010 Legislative session at these meetings, so I strongly encourage you to attend and make your voice heard.
