REP. McNAMARA TO HOLD TOWN MEETINGS

ST. PAUL – State Representative Denny McNamara (R-Hastings) announced today that he will be conducting a series of town meetings on Saturday, March 15.

McNamara will meet in Hastings at the City Hall, 101 4th Street, from 9:00-10:30 a.m.; in Cottage Grove at the Park Grove Library Meeting Room, 7900 Hemingway Ave S, from 11:00 a.m. – 12 noon; and in Afton at the Afton House from 1:00-2:00 p.m.

McNamara said he will discuss key issues that could be debated during the 2008 Legislative session and invites feedback from the public.

“Meeting face to face with citizens is the best way to stay in touch with how they want me to represent them in the Minnesota House,” McNamara said. “We will be voting on many important issues this session and citizen feedback will play a big part in my decisions. I encourage everyone to take some time to come out on Saturday, March 15 and participate.”
