Sen. Bakk and Rep. Dill get new lights for Linden Grove Township
Sen. Tom Bakk (DFL-Cook) and Rep. David Dill (DFL-Crane Lake) have worked with the Minnesota Department of Transportation to attain intersection lighting at the junction of Trunk Highways 1 and 73 in the Linden Grove Township.
Members of the Linden Grove Township Board wrote to Dill and Bakk in early February, requesting their help in getting lights for the dark intersection on these state highways.
"We are both happy to help out with this kind of a request," said Dill. "We will do whatever we can to make the roads in our area safer."
The intersection lighting will be installed during the summer of 2005.
