Pawlenty Invited to Testify About GOP's Proposed Repeal of Pawlenty-led Environment Law
Saint Paul, Minnesota – State Rep. Joe Atkins has invited former Governor Tim Pawlenty to testify in the House Commerce committee on HF 72 (Beard), a bill which calls for a repeal of a greenhouse gas emission reduction law spearheaded by Gov. Pawlenty in 2007.
The bill is expected to be heard in the House Commerce Committee on March 1st or 2nd. As the attached letter reflects, Gov. Pawlenty has been invited by Democrats to testify in opposition to the bill.
