ST. PAUL- Rep. Bud Nornes (R-Fergus Falls) achieved a 100 percent perfect attendance record for all roll call votes in the 2005 regular and special sessions of the Legislature.
Nornes was present for every one of the roll calls taken by members of the Minnesota House of Representatives from January through July. The official record is kept by the office of the chief clerk in the Minnesota House, which recently confirmed Nornes’ perfect voting record.
“I’m proud to have been present for each vote taken in the Minnesota House this year,” Nornes said. “Our district deserves representation wherever possible.”
Nornes has had previous years of perfect attendance including last year. According to MinnesotaVotes.org, Nornes missed one vote in 2003.
