Neighbor-
I wish you a blessed and safe Thanksgiving holiday spent in the comfort of friends and family.
As Americans, we have and endless list of things for which to be thankful. I encourage you to spend some time thinking about why you are personally thankful and it's always interesting to see what children come up with when you ask them to do the same.
Please also keep our soldiers in mind as we give thanks. Our members of the military are the ones responsible for the freedoms we enjoy every day, yet many of our service people are currently serving overseas and will be unable to join friends and family during the holidays.
I also encourage you to remember the less fortunate this season. The tough economy continues to put many folks in a pinch, making it hard to put food on the table. This translates to increased pressure on our food shelves, especially during the holiday season. Your donations are important as ever this time of year.
