COMMUNITY NOTICE

REP. NORNES AND SEN. SKOGEN ANNOUNCE ANNUAL TOWN MEETINGS

ST. PAUL – Rep. Bud Nornes (R-Fergus Falls) and Sen. Dan Skogen (DFL-Wadena) will host town meetings on Saturday, January 27, in the cities of Battle Lake, Dalton, Underwood, Fergus Falls, Pelican Rapids and Vergas.

“This is a great opportunity for folks in my district to meet informally to talk about some of the state and local issues that are being debated at the Capitol this legislative session,” Nornes said.

“In the spirit of a bipartisan, bicameral legislature, Rep. Nornes and I welcome community members to come and discuss their issues with us,” Sen. Skogen said. “This is a great opportunity for our district to participate in democracy in action.”

The meeting schedule is as follows:

9 a.m. – Shoreline in Battle Lake
10:30 a.m. – Dalton Cafe in Dalton
12:30 p.m. – Farmhouse Caf้ in Underwood
2 p.m. – Library in Fergus Falls
3:30 p.m. – The Rapids in Pelican Rapids
5 p.m. – Community Center in Vergas
