REP. HAUSMAN RECOGNIZED FOR HER LEGISLATIVE EXPERIENCE

ST. PAUL, MN – State Rep. Alice Hausman (DFL-St. Paul) has received her second notable appointment in recent months. In December, Hausman was appointed as 2nd Vice President to the Midwest Chapter of the Council of State Governments. This week Hausman was appointed to the National Conference of State Legislatures Standing Committee on Transportation.

“It is an honor to be acknowledged for my legislative experience," says Hausman. “States across the nation are facing similar challenges and I look forward to thoughtful discussion with my colleagues on how best to solve them.”

The Council of State Governments (CSG) and the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) are non-partisan organizations that seek to enrich state governments across the country, by encouraging discussions of best practice among members nation-wide. The focus of each organization is what differentiates them. The CSG focuses on the interactions of the three branches of government, while the NCSL focus solely on state legislatures.

"Rep. Hausman is an incredible advocate for her community,” said DFL Minority Leader Paul Thissen. “She is a leading expert on transportation, growing our communities, and providing a firm foundation for broad economic prosperity. She will be a strong voice for Minnesotans regionally and nationally."
