State Representative Alice Hausman (66B) announced today that she will be hosting a town meeting with Sen. Ellen Anderson and Rep. John Lesch to listen to citizens concerns and priorities for the 2007 Legislative Session.
"The stories we hear at these meetings are often as instructive as the testimony we get in a hearing room and the input helps us create better public policy," said Hausman.
The meeting will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at the Black Bear Crossing at Como Lake Pavilion, 1360 N. Lexington Parkway in St. Paul.
"Town meetings exemplify grassroots democracy at its finest," said Hausman. "Participating shows that people care deeply about their communities and the decisions being made on their behalf. I look forward to hearing what's on people's minds."
