NEWS RELEASE

HACKBARTH HONORED BY THE LEGISLATIVE EVALUATION ASSEMBLY OF MINNESOTA

St. Paul -- The Legislative Evaluation Assembly (LEA) of Minnesota recently honored Representative Tom Hackbarth (R – Cedar) for his strong record of traditional American values that include constitutionalism, limited government, and free enterprise.

The LEA, which is a non-profit, non-political organization, is established to keep the citizens of Minnesota informed of both important legislation and the voting performance of each Senator and Representative in the Minnesota State Legislature. LEA bases its evaluation on the traditional American principles of constitutionalism, limited government, free enterprise, legal and moral order with justice and individual liberty and dignity.

“The people of our District want to see a government that lives within a budget and responds to the true needs of the people,” said Hackbarth. “They remind me of this daily and I consistently strive to vote for the people.”

The honor was given out, and based upon 17 different votes in the Minnesota House of Representatives. Hackbarth was among 20 other House colleagues that received this honor, and he was one of three that received a 100% rating from the LEA this year.
