Erickson at State Fair on Friday, September 2
ST. PAUL – State Representative Sondra Erickson will be at the Minnesota House of Representatives State Fair booth Friday, September 2, from 2-4 p.m. The Minnesota House booth is in the northeast corner of the Education Building on Cosgrove Street north of Dan Patch Avenue.
According to House Public Information Services, the booth will feature information familiarizing fairgoers with state government and helping them better understand the legislative process. House members traditionally work the booth to meet fairgoers and answer questions.
Fairgoers who stop by the booth can also take the annual Minnesota House “Minnesota State Fair Poll.” Conducted by nonpartisan Public Information Services, the poll covers questions on topics that have or are likely to come before the Legislature. This year’s poll questions cover early education, expanded gambling and taxing clothing sales. The poll is nonscientific.
