EDINA – State Representative Ron Erhardt (R – Edina), Chairman of the House Transportation Policy Committee, has been named a League of Minnesota Cities 2005 Legislator of Distinction.
“At the League of Minnesota Cities, our members recognize that to be successful in serving our common constituents, city and state officials must be partners in reaching solutions that meet the unique needs of rural suburban and urban main streets across the state,” said League President and Plymouth Mayor Judy Johnson.
“Our members also understand that without legislative leaders like Rep. Erhardt, this partnership, and all the successes that result from cooperation, would not be possible.”
The League highlighted Erhardt’s work on the 2005 House Omnibus Transportation Bill and his work on the League’s salary cap legislation.
“I am honored by being named a Legislator of Distinction by the League,” said Erhardt. “I will continue to work to ensure the most efficient and effective cooperation between all levels of government in Minnesota.
