Townhall with Rep. Kathy Brynaert January 14 in Mankato

State Representatives Kathy Brynaert (DFL-Mankato) and Clark Johnson (DFL-North Mankato) and State Senator Kathy Sheran (DFL-Mankato) are inviting residents of Senate District 19 to join them at two town hall meetings to be held on January 13 and 14.

The January 13 town hall meeting will include Rep. Johnson and Sen. Sheran and will be held from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Nicollet County Court House in St. Peter. The room will be open at 5:00 pm to offer an opportunity for informal conversation before the meeting.

The January 14 meeting will include Rep. Brynaert and Sen. Sheran and will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Blue Earth County Library.  Doors will open at 5:00pm to offer an opportunity for informal conversation.

Rep. Brynaert encourages residents to attend the town halls and share their ideas and questions.  She said these meetings provide an opportunity to discuss important topics conversationally, and are great for gathering more information on issues impacting the local community and state.

“The 2014 session won’t start until February, but it’s never too early for local residents to be reaching out to their elected officials and sharing ideas and concerns,” Rep. Brynaert said. “We’re constantly working on constituent ideas and I rely on the input of those I serve when making important decisions.”
