Joined by family and friends today, Chris Swedzinski took the oath of office os State Representative.
Among the issues he would like to have addressed by majority Democrats is the new committee structure. The Agriculture Finance Committee was axed, meaning all Ag appropriations bills must go through the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Committee, chaired by State Representative Jean Wagenius of Minneapolis. Wagenius has been less than supportive of family farms during her legislative career.
