Under the committee structure, Agriculture appropriations bills will be forwarded to the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Committee - chaired by Minneapolis Representative Jean Wagenius.
Wagenius' support for family farming has been lukewarm at best over the years; Representative Fabian is concerned that Wagenius' role as committee chair could have far-reaching harmful effects on family farms in Minnesota.
