State Representative Steve Drazkowski (21B) expressed concern over the latest committee structure in the Minnesota House of Representatives.
The new DFL majority chose to eliminate the Agriculture Finance Committee; this means all ag-related appropriations must now go to the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Committee for action. The chair of that committee, Representative Jean Wagenius of Minneapolis, has a reputation of "environmental meddling" when it comes to family farms in Minnesota.
