State Representative Rod Hamilton used the opening day of the 2013 legislative sesison to voice his concerns over the future of Agriculture in Minnesota.
The new DFL majority decided to get rid of the Agriculture Finance Committee, and instead, will direct all ag-related through the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Committee.
Chair of that committee, Representative Jean Wagenius of Minneapolis, has a history of being less than supportive of family farms in Minnesota.
