House Research Department
House Research provides nonpartisan, neutral research and legal services to the Minnesota House of Representatives. Our services include supporting the work of House committees, confidentially drafting legislation, answering research questions when requested by individual House members, summarizing bills and acts, and producing publications on topical policy issues.
