Abolishes the state Designer Selection Board. Under current law, the Board selects designers for state construction and remodeling projects. If the Board were abolished, state agencies would select designers, following state contracting laws. The repeal of the Designer Selection Board is in section 5 of the bill. Sections 1 to 4 strike statutory cross-references to the Board.
