This act designates Trunk Highway 53 from Virginia to International Falls as the “Speaker Irvin N. Anderson Memorial Highway.”  It requires that the Minnesota Department of Transportation design and erect signs, which must be paid for through nonstate funds.

It also authorizes the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to remove designated highway signs in need of maintenance, when nonstate funds are not available.
