A bill that would provide $54 million for flood mitigation
awaits gubernatorial action.

as amended by a conference committee, was passed 109-25 by the House and 59-8 by the Senate. (Watch

The $361.4 million bill, with $300 million in general
obligation bonding, would also give $78.8 million to Minnesota State Colleges
and Universities, $51.5 million to the University of Minnesota, $54.6 million to
the Department of Transportation and $22.6 million to the Metropolitan Council.
