Starting Line: Recap of 2013 Session

published 5/24/2013

Many of us have had our interest piqued by a bill and wanted to wait and see if it became law. But, somewhere along the way, we lost track of where it went in the complicated web of the legislative process.

That’s where Starting Line steps in.

The purpose of our Public Information Services’ weekly series is to highlight a bill and track it through committee, the House floor, conference committee, and anywhere else it may go on its journey.

We featured 16 bills during the just-completed session. In our last Starting Line of the year, we take a look back and see where those bills went and if any were passed into law.
