Educational Programs Coordinator - Sergeant at Arms (Temporary Position)

Available to current or former legislative employees only.

POSITION: The Educational Programs Coordinator plans and administers the High School Page Program and College Internship Program for the Minnesota House of Representatives. The position may begin in late January.

OFFICE: The Sergeant at Arms Department is a nonpartisan office that provides administrative and facilities support to the institution. Educational Programs are coordinated through the office.

QUALIFILCATION:

Teaching experience at the High School level; Political Science/Civics/History preferred

Knowledge of the legislative process is desirable

Strong organizational ability and good judgment

Ability to effectively manage students and multiple daily schedules

TERMS & HOURS: The position is temporary and full-time for the 2020 legislative session. Standard business hours with some flexibility as needed.

PAY RANGE: Entry salary $714.80 - $857.20 weekly, commensurate with experience
