Representative Carlson, Chair of the Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:03 A.M. on January 14, 2013, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Carlson requested members of the Ways and Means Committee and House Staff assigned to the committee to introduce themselves.
There was an overview of the Ways and Means Committee procedures.
There was a presentation of an overview of the November forecast and fiscal cliff issues by the following:

Dr. Tom Stinson, Minnesota State Economist
Margaret Kelly, Assistant Commissioner, State Budget Director
