Representative Lenczewski, Chair of Committee on Taxes, called the meeting to order at 12:33 pm February 21, 2013 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lillie moved the approval of the minutes of February 14th and February 19th. The motion prevailed. The minutes were approved.
Representative Liebling moved that
HF5, Sixth Engrossment, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
Representative Atkins presented
HF5, Sixth Engrossment (Atkins) Minnesota Insurance Marketplace established, powers and duties prescribed, right to not participate established, open meeting requirements and data practices procedures specified, and money appropriated

Representative Loeffler withdrew the amendment.
Chair Lenczewski recessed the committee at 1:57 pm until 6:00 pm.
Chair Lenczewski reconvened at 6:00 pm.

Rep. Liebling move to amend Amendment H0005A189, as follows:
Page 1, line 1.4, delete "rules" and insert "needs"
Page 1, line 1.5, delete "rules" and insert "needs"
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE LIEBLING AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Rep. Loeffler renewed the motion to amend
