Representative Murphy, Chair of Committee on State Government Finance and Veterans Affairs, called the meeting to order at 12:32 January 30, 2013 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present
Representative Sawatzky moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on January 28, 2013, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Mark Ritchie, Secretary of State and Beth Fraser; presented an overview and review of Governor's budget recommendations for Office of Secretary of State.
Don Kerr, Executive Director; presented an overview of services, programs, and budget recommendations of Military Affairs Department.
Chair Murphy announced the first bill will be heard at the next meeting if it is referred.
Chair Murphy announced that the next meeting would be on Monday, February 4, 2013.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:01.
