Representative Paymar, Chair of Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 10:06 a.m. Thursday, March 21st, 2013 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

Rep. Simonson moved that the minutes of the March 20, 2013 meeting be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) board overview.
Presenting the overview was:

Private Detective Board overview.
Presenting the overview were:
Gregory J. Cook - Executive Director, Minnesota Board of Private Detective and Protective Agent Services Board
HF817 (Myhra) Public accounting services exempted from licensure requirements.
Rep. Cornish moved that
HF817 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

HF673 (Simon) Youth intervention program fund use modified, and money appropriated.
Rep. Simon moved that
HF673 be recommended to pass and be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Public Safety Finance Bill.

HF1490 be recommended to pass and be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Public Safety Finance Bill.

Rep. Lesch moved that
HF285 be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.
Rep. Schoen moved to amend

At the request of Rep. Kelly, a roll call vote was ordered on the amendment.
