MINUTES
Representative Paymar, Chair of Committee on Public Safety Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 10:02 a.m. Thursday, February 21st, 2013 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Moved that the minutes of the February 20, 2013 meeting be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
HF88 (Dettmer) Rehabilitation presumption established through a person's honorable military service following a prior offense.
Rep. Schoen moved that
HF88 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Public Safety Finance bill.
Chair Paymar moved to amend
HF88 as follows:
Page 1, Line 13, strike "a" and insert "the person's most recent"
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Schoen renewed his motion that
HF88, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Public Safety Finance Bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF228 (Johnson, B.) Wildlife arson that damages multiple dwellings, acreage, or crops increased penalties created, and restitution provisions added.
Rep. Johnson moved that
HF228 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Environment and Natural Resources Policy committee.
Rep. Johnson moved to amend
HF228 as follows: (See attached amendment coded H0228A2)
THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF84, the first engrossment, be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Government Operations.
