Representative Hilstrom, Chair of Committee on Judiciary Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 2:22 PM on February 26, 2013 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Rep Scott moved approval of the minutes from February 18, 2013 with a correction to page 2, correcting the name "Scott Nelso" to "Scott Nelson". THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF810 (Norton) Olmstead County; Third Judicial District Court funding provided for development of drug court.
Chair Hilstrom moved that
HF810 be laid over for possible inclusion in a Judiciary Finance and Policy bill.
Representative Norton, Mark Ostrem, Olmstead County Attorney, Mike McDonough, and Peter Hoffman, testified in favor of
HF810.
Chair Hilstrom renewed her that
HF810 be laid over for possible inclusion in a Judiciary Finance and Policy bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF129 (Sanders) Mortgage foreclosures regulated, and foreclosure consultant definition clarified.
Representative Drazkowski moved that
HF129 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the General Register.
Representative Sanders, and Ron Elwood, Legal Aid Services Advocacy Project testified in favor of
HF129.
Representative Drazkowski renewed his motion that
HF129 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
