Representative Liebling, Chair of Committee on Health and Human Services Policy, called the meeting to order at 2:17 PM January 29, 2013 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present
Representative Zerwas moved approval of the January 23 minutes. The motion prevailed. The minutes were approved.
Guest speakers presented an overview of Autism, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and current therapies and interventions. In addition, there was information provided on services currently available, and statistics in regards to care provider costs and prevalence of ASD. Finally, the Autism Spectrum Disorder Task Force strategic plan report was reviewed. The presenters were:
Mike Wasmer, Autism Speaks
Alex Bartolic, Director of Disability Services, Department of Human Services
Bradley Trahan, Executive Director, RT Autism Awareness Foundation, Inc., Chair of the ASD Task Force
After the presentation there was a time for questions and answers.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:37 PM.
