Representative Simon, Chair of Committee on Elections, called the meeting to order at 12:30pm on February 21, 2013 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Rep. Halverson moves approval of the February 19, 2013 minutes. The motion prevailed.
HF576 (Bernardy) Secretary of State authorized to solicit funds.
Rep. Bernardy moved approval of
HF576 and be re-refered to State Government Finance.

Rep. Bernardy renewed motion to approve
HF576 and be re-referred to State Government Finance. The motion prevailed.
HF526 (Lesch) Uniform Faithful Presidential Electors Act enacted and conforming changes made.
Rep. Simon moved to recommend
HF526 to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Chair Simon moved H0526A1 amendment. The amendment prevailed.
Chair Simon renewed motion to approve
HF526, as amended, and be placed on the General Register. The motion prevailed.
