MINUTES
Representative Poppe, Chair of Committee on Agriculture Policy, called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Wagenius introduced
HF1175, (Wagenius) establishing the Minnesota Agriculture Water Quality Program, and moved that it be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law.
Representative Wagenius moved to amend
HF1175 (see attached amendment H1175A1). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Dave Frederickson, Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Agriculture testified on
HF1175.
Brad Redlin, Minnesota Department of Agriculture, testified on the listening sessions held by the Department of Agriculture around the state of Minnesota regarding the Minnesota Agriculture Water Quality Program.
Representative Faust moved to amend
HF1175 as amended (see attached amendment H1174A8). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Hamilton moved to amend
HF1175 as amended (see attached amendment H1175DE1).
Representative Hamilton amended the H1175DE1 amendment as follows:
Insert section 3 of
HF1175 as amended into H1175DE1, page 2, after line 22 creating subdivision 7.
Representative Hamilton renewed his motion to amend
HF1775 as amended (see attached amendment H1175DE1 as amended). Representative Hamilton requested a roll call vote on the motion.
