MINUTES
Representative Poppe, Chair of Committee on Agriculture Policy, called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Mariah Daninger, Forest Lake FFA, presented a prepared public speech on organic and conventional farming.
Valerie Earley, Spring Valley/Wykoff FFA, presented a prepared public speech on agriculture education especially in urban areas.
Charlie Poster, Assistant Commissioner of Agriculture, Minnesota Department of Agriculture, testified on the Agriculture Growth Research and Innovation (AGRI) Fund.
Representative Wagenius presented on agriculture in her district.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:52 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013.
