GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS AND ELECTIONS

MINUTES

Representative Peppin Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative McFarlane moved approval of the minutes from March 3, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF756 (Stensrud) State employee performance appraisal and bonus pay system components specified.

Representative Murray moved that HF756 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the State Government Finance Committee.

Representative Murray renewed his motion that HF756 be recommended to pass, and be re-referred to the State Government Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND HF756 WAS RECOMMENDED TO PASS AND RE-REFERRED TO THE STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE COMMITTEE.

HF753 (Howes) Concurrent detachment and annexation provided.

Representative Quam moved that HF753 be recommended to pass, and placed on the General Register.

Representative Quam renewed his motion that HF753 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED, AND HF753 WAS RECOMMENDED TO PASS.

HF852 (Hornstein) City of Minneapolis and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board joint dedication fee changed.

Representative Hornstein moved that HF852 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.
